New York – September 25, 2025 – CMA, a leading provider of restructuring and M&A services to the middle market, announced that Nick Baro has rejoined the firm as Vice President.
Baro is a restructuring advisor with over five years of experience in financial services, specializing in financial and operational turnarounds. He has played a key role in developing and executing business plans, serving on interim management teams, and advising clients on strategic alternatives in distressed and special situations. Throughout his career, he has partnered closely with senior management teams, lenders, private equity sponsors, and investors across a wide range of industries to evaluate restructuring options, drive cost efficiencies, and preserve stakeholder value.

Before rejoining CMA, Baro was an Associate at WhiteHorse Capital, the direct lending arm of H.I.G. Capital, where he was a core member of the restructuring team. In that role, he managed a portfolio of distressed borrowers, working to maximize recoveries and implement workout strategies across complex capital structures.
Baro holds a B.S. in Financial Management with a concentration in Corporate Finance from Clemson University.
