Stephen Funnell has a decade of experience providing financial and operational advisory services to lenders, senior management teams, and private equity firms. He specializes in financial analysis, valuation, and working capital management in both in- and out-of-court scenarios.

His expertise spans a range of lender and debtor-side engagements, where he has developed comprehensive financial models, including detailed budgeting models, 13-week cash flow analyses, 4-wall profitability assessments, and profit improvement plans. In addition, he has led initiatives focused on working capital optimization, liquidity management, profitability improvement, business plan execution, and restructuring alternatives.

Before joining CMA, Stephen was with Tiger Capital Group, where he advised clients on inventory quality, working capital solutions, and liquidation analysis to support portfolio management and investor due diligence.

Stephen holds a BBA from Bryant University, has been a CFA Charterholder since 2019, and was named an Emerging Leader by the M&A Advisor in 2025.
