Scott Pasquith brings extensive experience delivering financial and operational improvements for middle-market companies, with a track record that includes establishing financing sources, negotiating company sales to maximize stakeholder returns, managing liquidity in distressed environments, and building reliable 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts. His expertise also includes upgrading financial reporting systems, developing integrated operating budgets and financial models, evaluating subsidiary performance and return on capital, and implementing enterprise-wide manufacturing and business systems.
At CMA, Scott has hands-on experience improving financial performance and operational execution across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining CMA, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Sofa Express, Inc., a retail furniture chain with 70 stores across nine states and annual revenues of approximately $230 million. In that role, Scott oversaw accounting, human resources, credit, information systems, and facilities functions, and played a central role in the company’s strategic planning and decision-making.
Earlier in his career, Scott served as Corporate Treasurer of Klaussner Corporation, a furniture manufacturer and retailer with approximately 5,000 employees and $750 million in revenue, and as Corporate Controller of Technimark, a rapidly growing plastics injection molding company. He began his career at Ernst & Young, where he advanced to Audit Manager.
Scott earned a B.S. in Accounting from Wake Forest University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of North Carolina.
