Josh has over ten years of experience providing advisory services to underperforming companies with an emphasis in financial and operational restructuring, liquidity management, and corporate valuation. His background comprises both in- and out-of-court engagements serving the entire spectrum of distressed stakeholders, lenders and equity sponsors, boards and management, and various appointed and ad-hoc committees.

Before joining The CMA Group, Josh worked as a Senior Associate in Riveron’s Restructuring and Turnaround Services (RTS) practice. He advised clients across several of the firm’s most prominent verticals, including Aerospace, Defense, & Government Contractors; Automotive & Industrials; and Engineering & Construction.

He began his career at NewOak Capital in the firm’s Fundamental Credit group, providing portfolio surveillance and outsourced due diligence to hedge funds, foreign banks, and government entities, including the New York State Department of Financial Services.

Josh holds a BS in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has completed the AIRA’s Certification in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV) / Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and TMA’s Certified Turnaround Analyst (CTA) programs.
