Carl Landeck brings more than 35 years of experience as a chief financial officer and financial advisor to middle-market, multi-location retail and service companies. Over the course of his career, he has led and advised companies through turnarounds, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raises, and both in-court and out-of-court restructurings. A results-driven financial professional with a strong operational focus, Carl is valued by companies, lenders, and investors for his leadership across complex financial and transactional situations.
Most recently, Carl served as Financial Advisor to a large regional ambulance transportation company, where he was responsible for maintaining day-to-day liquidity, overseeing the revenue cycle, and managing information flows to key stakeholders. He has also served as Financial Advisor to Monitor Company Group and Lenox Group, leading all pre-filing preparations—including strategic planning and forecasting—and overseeing post-filing administration through successful Section 363 sale closings and estate wind-downs.
Previously, Carl served as Chief Financial Officer of Bally Total Fitness, where he designed and implemented a strategic, activity-based business planning process that improved forecasting accuracy, performance tracking, and execution. As CFO of Levitz Home Furnishings, he led the merger and integration of Levitz and Seaman’s Furniture, consolidating distribution operations, implementing RFID and just-in-time inventory systems, and growing EBITDA from under $5 million to more than $40 million in less than three years.
Carl earned a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
