Bobby Lau brings more than 30 years of experience as a senior executive in the U.S. financial markets and leads CMA’s nationwide business development efforts. He has built an extensive network of relationships across equity sponsors, investment banks, attorneys, and turnaround professionals, supporting clients through a wide range of complex financing situations.

Prior to joining CMA, Bobby served as a Senior Vice President at CIT Group Inc., where he originated and closed financings related to leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and bankruptcy situations. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at The Bank of New York, Heller Corporate Finance, and IBJ Whitehall Financial Group, where he sourced, structured, and underwrote asset-based and leveraged financings across a broad range of industries.

Bobby earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia and an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from Georgia State University. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
